906 Medium Duty Welding Blankets

The 906 medium duty welding blanket is a 24 ounce fiberglass, vermiculite/elastomer coated blanket which offers good spark and spatter protection. This welding blanket has a working temperature of 1000F; making it an excellent choice for heat treating. The 906 medium duty blanket is hemmed on all four sides, as well as set with brass grommets at each corner and on 36" centers. When the sparks fly from a grinding or cutting application, you can count on this selection of welding blankets to provide necessary protection. Offering a working temperature protection rating up to 800 degrees, these blankets are suitable for draping equipment or used as a vertical shield to protect from the spray of sparks and minimal spatter. The non-coated fiberglass materials used in the manufacture of our 1850 and 1000 series blankets provide an efficient shield when draped over equipment or flooring surfaces. Best when used on an angle incline of at least 15 degrees.
